OMG- this is so funny...
Mayor overreacts and decides to lash out on this board and it lasts for like- what?- 4, 5, maybe 6 hours.
And now for over 24 hours he has retracted and backed off... And for over 24 hours it has been quite clear that you guys are in the right...
And ever since Mayor's retraction you have pushed pushed pushed this, and the only thing it has given you is publicity!!! Right now you are in an enviable position: the more you push this, the more publicity you get.
The whole "being wronged" thing seems to fit so nicely into a Melissa Midwest image-branding strategy...

I was talking to my Uncle about this- he tells me this: "Look at Melissa's site... copyright 2004... done this a few years, you know... probably needs a little controversey to give her some freshness... something exciting..."
