Disclaimer: My opinion upon fully watching the video. I am a spectator to all this like most of us here but am trying to be objective. Don't hate me for it. On the same token, don't think I'm on anybody's side.
First, Melissa. If you have spoken to at least a half-intelligent attorney, the very first thing he would have said was to not make the videos public because 1) it gives the opposing party your primary evidence which they can use against you and 2) (and don't get pissy about this) it looks like you are gaining more and more publicity out of this. Now, don't take this as an attack on you personally like you did when I made the comment about possible editing. If the attorney you talked to asked you to refer him to another attorney who knows more about this than s/he does - then this is #1 sign you need to find another attorney.
Now, whoever typed up and posted the original accusation (with username Mayor). The way you decided to react and send accusations flying like lightning bolts out of your ass was out of line. You keep saying that you were not allowed in the studio. If I were in your position (representing Brooke) and someone told me this, I would have said "Brooke, pack your bags, we're going home." Getting this promotional shoot done is a distant second in priority to keeping Brooke under your wing. Perhaps both parties should have made the terms of this promotional shoot clear prior to getting on the plane.
During the video, I personally do not think Melissa caused any physical harm to Brooke (perhaps unintentional very short-term pain). If indeed Brooke was crying after the taping ended (which you state continuously), it was most likely because she felt emotionally helpless that no one was there to 'protect' her and also because she partly blame herself for letting it go on farther than she would have been comfortable with. I strongly recommend that you have a discussion with all the girls that you represent to make sure they voice their opinions during their work.
Now, brings us back to the question: why wasn't Mayor's money people allowed in the studio? Who decided to do this and why? That's like keeping a newborn away from its mother. (Of course, in this case, the mother didn't react until way afterwards.) Again, if I were in Mayor Money's shoes and I was told to stay out of the studio - I would have been fucking livid (again, unless this was previously agreed upon and accepted by Brooke).
Lastly, what all of you guys should do is put most of the blame on the host (and the crew) of this 'show' and tarnish their image. And you know what'll happen - their excuse will be "If she didn't want to do it, all she had to do was say no" which leaves poor Brooke again down a shame spiral for not standing up for herself. I think a lot of us who've watched this video would agree that the 'host' is an idiot and didn't get laid enough in high school before dropping out due to his grades or he simply got abused as a child. Someone needs to shove that strapon up his ass and see how he feels about it if Brooke was there telling someone to "slam it" and "take it for the team".
I'm gonna go watch some TV. I will be back later. Don't attack me all at once now.
PS> If this was fake drama, bravo.
PSS> I sincerely hope that Brooke is okay.
PSSS> If my post seems incoherent to this story - then forgive me, my post is based on what I've read at GFY and seen in the video. This was not a sig whoring post - I did not include my sig and will not for the rest of my participation in this thread.
