Bubba fucked you... He said "c'mon down Mayor and bend over so you can take my big Bubba Love Sponge Sausage in the ass..." He did this by: (1) creating a mysogynistic situation where his fantasies ruled over the girls well-being; (2) clearly favoring Melissa as the "princess" superstar and seeing your girls as inferior; (3) pressuring the girls (especially yours) to participate in this princess-Melissa-vs-the-servant-bitch-Brooke fantasy...

Melissa played along, but it's easy to play along in the princess role (especially when you're a princess to begin with)... Your girls are obviously bothered throughout the tape.

That said, it was really really really stupid not to (1) determine that Bubba-the-love-sponge (who is on THE HOWARD STERN network) might create a bad environment for your girls; (2) to not set up the terms of the deal clearly beforehand; and (3) to not even go in and observe- putting your girls interest first- and let the camera/filming issue go...

At all of these three instances you had the opportunity to ensure that Bubba was not in complete control of this episode and that there were some terms and boundaries that must be respected regarding your girls. In this way- by your lack of action- you contributed passively to letting the situation unfold in a bad way.

Looking forward, it doesn't seem that anything will be resolved until you admit to yourself that Melissa didn't fuck you- Bubba did. Accept that she is a little (or maybe a lot) of a Nebraska princess- but she didn't really have anywhere near the primary responsiblity for this situation. You really had much more responsiblity than her because of your passiveness with regard to how the situation was set-up and then your lack of letting go of the camera thing in the interest of your girls' safety.

If you admit that, and take responsiblity for that, and Melissa continues to escalate this, then it is really really clear that she is just being a bitch.

Now you should let me have Kat for the nite in exchange for giving you all this insight....
