It might come as a surprise to you, but without sponsors my site wouldn't be alife today... No link-site can survive without sponsors. Also, link-sites were there earlier than sponsors... Ask anybody who has been in this business longer than 5 years...

Sales before TGPs... hm... there were only people running their own paysites and a few amateur who put their pictures on the web. I think sales were good. But when portals started to appear that linked to previews and stuff sales went up. So the sites started to buy banner ads on my site. That's how it was 8 years ago... What conclusions. Do you KNOW how much money I spend? No! Ofcourse not. So please do not draw conclusions out of assumptions you can not verify at all. I spend a lot of money fighting cheaters. Now Incognito... the net evolved for the past 8 years and it will continue to do so... but so far I'm still in the saddle and keeping up...
