I have to agree with that. I would never fuck with cheaters and try to bring them down because I simply do not have the time to bother about that. If a 16 year old kid can bring yahoo down for a coupl of hours with tools he didn't even code himself, I can only imagine what good programmers can achieve. These people can do a lot of stuff and have a lot of ways to hide their traces. I wouldn't like for my website to go down because of some ddos attack, and never being able to get back online because they would keep attacking each time it would come back.
It is sad to say, but there is absolutely nothing you can do against someone who has the knowledge and determination to bring you down. The difference with those guys is they go from server to server, from domain to domain, etc. If hun cannot use his domain anymore, do you really think his 1 million bookmarkers a day will just switch to his new website when they do not even know where they can find it?
As long as there will be anonymous proxies, bad network managers, flawed oses, etc. the internet will be a fragile place and everyone can bring everyone down with some determination.
That's why I don't fuck with hackers
Think about that guys, is it really worth it to risk your businness for them?
Have a good day,
Mortimer
