yeah and password sites probably provide you with more signups than tgp sites, passwords die off in a day, are normally posted by the owners who arent up for using them anymore anyways and then grab others from people who did the same thing

its not illegal and if anything it provides people a glimpse of a pay site in such a way that the pay sites get a better sign up ratio from an inhouse advertising scheme that they technically don't have to approve of

A small pay site on its own server might spend 1k a month and a couple bucks per meg overage. 1 day of a password being posted to some password sites causes the bandwidth bill to shoot into the $3-4k range, especially if it's a movie site. The pay site will not make that money back.

Paysites need a dedicated server...they pay for bandwidth in megabits...not by the gig

you could use perl scripts to detect and kill a password though within 30 seconds of its posting, thereby protecting your site and making it more secure, if your not doing that your kinda leaving yourself open and asking for it arent ya?
