If it's been a year long investigation, I think it might be a lot worse then people think. People get away with all sorts of shit in this city, so this shit is probably thick....
Laws are made for a reason and they need to be adhered to.
There is ZERO erotica value in the portrayal of rape.

This is the rap against our entire business, and while I believe it's often more true of the girls who do hardcore video than the girls who just model, let's not forget there are also girls who are just exploring a wild side to their personality. I take much more advantage of girl's need for excitement and adventure than a need to pay the rent or even drugs. Let's face it: most girls would rather move back in with mom or crash temporarily with friends than pose nude to pay their rent.
I try to stay away from drug users because (a) they make crummy models and (b) valuable photography equipment is likely to disappear into their backpack while my back is turned.
And while I agree there is zero erotica value in actual rape, there actually IS a lot of erotica value in what is known to be feigned abuse. That is simply role playing.
Also, there are girls who like it rough. I had one model explain to me that her best orgasms came when her dates ignored her pleas to stop and treated her roughly. In her words, "I like being taken. It's about the only way I orgasm."
What is erotic is a very complicated matter and can't be summarized in a bumpersticker phrase.
