I am told the Sweet's were pissing off some people in Vancouver, and I know that they were doing stuff that certainly invited problems, but I seriously doubt that they would rape and torture a model against her consent.

From what I saw of their operation, and remember we go way back with the Sweets since we were the company that originally created one of their signature products, "Sweet Loads". they were very professional and up front with models about what to expect during a shoot. Most of their models "graduated" to the harder stuff once they felt comfortable with the producers. They did not walk in off the street and immediately get tied up and sodomized or anything like that.

I am sure many will jump to conclusions and try to pontificate about their superiority of ethics but vilifying the Sweets is not serving any purpose. Sure, they pushed the boundries and now they are going to have to pay, but don't forget for one second that almost everyone in the porn biz is pushing boundries... remember... they still kill pornographers in places like Singapore, Iran, etc.

On another note, Tom Sweet for a long time has been gone from the opeation.
