We don't have a shred of proof to back this claim.
I want the weather records around the world for the last 500,000 years to be able to graph this trend.
Wait, we only have the last 200 years? Oh dear.

Frankly nobody with basic common sense needs any "pin" Brad. Simplified version for this board - anyone with eyes and an interest in looking can see the wreckage of the world's forests including the supposed "lungs of the earth" in the Amazon basin. A quick check on what were rich forest areas around the Gulf coast in Texas will show large hectares of dead wood and clouds of pollution still hanging over these areas (emissions from oil refineries).
Irrespective of any reports or the ramblings of others, several governments started years ago in efforts to preserve the environment and are current injecting, literally billions into target areas under threat. Even China are spending serious money globally buying "oxygen shares" in rainforest areas in an attempt to counter their contamination of the environment - and we take a portion of that "oxygen rental" cash towards protecting areas.
Perhaps instead of talk, a few countries need to stand up and pay for the cost of their contamination of the environment instead pontificating and borrowing off nations who have already started playing a role.
Getting panties in a twist over a report on global warming is pointless - not one person here has the qualifications to either accept of deny anything - they just talk and cut/paste whatever suits their agenda.
