It seems you were misunderstanding my post ; maybe i wasn't clear enough
Someone else in the other thread (which i pointed to in my post above) gave all details about one of the hotlinking issue(s). It's
not about you hotlinking others, it's about others commercially ripping off free ISP's accounts for hosting their movies, while getting listed by you or other sites. Nothing else.
The issue is about webmasters
commercially ripping off free isps webspace and thus saving huge money (by hosting huge movies on free isps webspace) on bandwidth expenses, while others still pay for their bandwidth and get listed, eventually even lower than those with the huge movies.
Some other sites go even further than that, but that's not the issue here (e.g. real hotlinking bots). Though, a growing but silent number of webmasters is very concerned about the topic hotlinking generally.
I fully support your point of vue concerning other cheating methods like redirecting galleries to cp sites or anywhere else etc, or your fight against the use of super-expensive dialers as billing methods.
My remark about double-standards (and yes, it's been proven in the other thread) was related to the fact that you do you best against "cheaters" but eventually not against hotlinkers (thus people getting listed with galleries hotlinking content from free isps or any other hosts) on your site, but i might have been wrong (though, the other guy mentioned that you were emailed but without reaction). That's really all.

Everyone can run his site as he wants, it was just only weird to see action taken against cheaters, but
eventually not against hotlinkers. (after all, free isps cap their bandwidth at some level, which leads to 404s, and thus redirected traffic too and thus filling the cheating factor? - Why should those webmasters be treated any different than webmasters deleting their content or 404 on purpose?)
Anyways, there was no harm meant in my post (other than to those hotlinkers of course).
