I am in a pretty similar situation right now. I would seek counseling if I was you. At least then you can say you've done all you can to try and work it out.

She wanted that as well. But I'm 35, she's 25. I think the difference is too big in this relationship.
You're right on the money about the other things though: She's high maintainance, that doesn't work well when most attention goes to my son, work and then there's myself too ;-)
I tried though, seems to not work.
