Getting other webmasters to sponsor your site?
Hi,
I'm relatively new at this biz, but was wondering what the best way to offer sponsorships to other webmasters who might be willing to sponsor my site.
Ways to offer....
1) I could post it on one of these boards if you guys think it is appropriate (just tell me which forum would be good).
2) I could put a page up on my own website. (this option would take FOREVER as it would rely on webmasters visiting my site).
Other questions:
1) What is an appropriate payout percentage?
2) Is there a way other people can screw me out of money?
3) Is there a way I can allay other webmasters fears that I won't screw them out of money? (I use Globill, and their partnership programs seems fairly straight forward and honest).
4) Would other webmasters be more likely to make their own galleries/full page ads from my material? Or are they going to want me to make all that stuff for them?
5) Is the sponsorship thing a wise game for webmasters who produce their own content? Or are we better off trading links and submitting gallery pages on our own?
Anything else I should know about????
I'd love to hear from both sides of the coin on this one--both site promoters/TGPers and original content webmasters.
Cheers!
