It may rank a little better for "prn" searches, it may get some typeins from people forgetting the "o", but that's it. It has an advantage over TEF.com for example: People looking for "porn" may click on a link from PRN.com more often when they see it than on TEF.com, since it's more related to their search term. That's where the rumor comes from. It won't rank better, but people may still click more often.
