LOL, WTF is an elite GFY member?
GFY is worth spending some time with, if you ignore all the racists and pimpmastahs and dramathreadqueens and guys who think "slut" is a synonym for "woman". Oh, yeah, and there's a whole crew who thinks adult webmasters are, or ought to be, some sort of wiggerish street gangsta outfit. Most of them aren't here to do business, and most of the rest aren't safe to do business with. (Of course as with any rule of thumb, there are exceptions.)
If you're going for post count, don't bother. Nobody gives a shit. It took me five years to make a thousand posts. I still said what needed saying and had room left over for plenty of "playing and wasting time" posts.
What matters here is business. Connections and knowledge. Knowledge, particularly, tends to get stated once, drop down the page without much discussion, and be gone forever. But one insightful post that teaches you something can make you ten thousand dollars, so it's worth sorting some wheat from the prodigious pile of posturing chaff. And there are people here who know stuff that makes them $10,000 before breakfast.
