Thats why I always hold onto the towel I just dried my hands with until I open then door, and _then_ toss it out.
I know others do the same. Thats why you'll typically find a waste basket right next to the door - even if it's in a separate alcove.
I'm not a clean freak or anything... I just know what grows if you give it a chance... all sorts of little nasties... and, armed with that knowledge, I'm not big on making myself any more of a walking culture than I need to be.
