Rumor has it that it wasn't E, but something like a horse tranquilizer just so she would stop freaking out. Up until that point, she wasn't going to go on stage at the VMAs, because she hasn't really rehearsed for more than about 3 minutes earliler in the day.
She is a train wreck.
