First of all, not all foreigners are "scumbags" and I would think that goes without saying. There is always exceptions to absolutes unless you're narrow minded.
I know most of the prominent foriegners, both Brits down at the British club on suruwongse road parrallel with Silom road (Patpong Road) where both the major business and major red light districts are. I should know, I worked at CP tower across the street from Patong for 3 years. I also know Sukhumvit as I lived there for 4 years, on Sukhumvit 22, Peter Court, on Sukhumvit Soi 51 (near Thong lor - 55) and I still have an apartment on Soi 39 asshole. My wife flys back to Thailand twice a year. Shall I go on asshole?

If you knew this business, you would know that the numbers I stated above were and are easily possible especially back in 1997. I myself have done quite well but only through banging on the computer for 20 hours straight using shitty Internet Thailand 28.8 kb connections (at that time). I probably averaged 15-16 hrs per day over a 3-4 year span and along with many other devoted-ambicious folks out there to achieve decent success.
I'll gladly pay taxes for the price of freedom and legal recourse asshole. You obviously have never experienced the Thai two step or the Chinese fuck you! America has it's false and it's share of corruption but we still have freedom, innovation and potential to do great things. Living in Asia pounded these facts into my head. I lived in Asia out of financial circumstance and necessity. The Thai stock market crashed in 1997 driving the Thai Baht from 25 to $1 to 56 to $1 in one fucking day. I saw people jumping off office buildings, I personally lost a lot of money.
There are many things I love about Asia sir but you and your mentality was one of the main reasons why I left. Selfish greed, jealousy and downright immorality riegn supreme over there. You've got more murderers, thieves, tax dodgers and scum exploiting young girls than not. I am not condemning everyone who wishes to stay there by any means sir and if you are unable to discern that, than hey, that's your right.
