If you pay by cc instead of a debit card, it all gets worked out by the time you get the statement. Its a pain, a few yrs ago similar thing happened to me at Ruth's Chris, when I used my Epass, took over a week to straighten it out
I hate arbitrary tipping, dont mind tipping for good service, but dont want to support shabby employees who dont give a shit.
