There is more to it than that. People don't fuck animals or takes loads of countless strangers in their ass everyday because they are hurting.
They do it because if they don't, there is a consequence. Be it an ass kicking or they don't get fed for the night or they don't get shelter.
To stop the "pain" they do drugs. Lots of them. They become addicted to make the pain go away and then they can't leave the brothel / pimp because they now need the drugs. It's a NASTY game. In some cases the girls are given from their family because they family was in debt. Now the girl has to go and work off the debt. Of course she never does and if she gets hooked on drugs, all the "money" she "earns" is going back to mom and dad so she digs an even deeper hole by borrowing for the drugs.
In South East Asia this is nasty shit and common in the brothels that service locals. Not so much with the tourists but in some countries you will find it. Check between their toes for tracks where they have been shooting up. They won't do it on their arms or in places people can see it. Of course IV drug use sky rockets HIV infection so on top of being a hooker who will bareback anyone, she is sometimes shooting up with dirty needles on top of it.
Most guys who come over here and many who live here refuse to admit this goes on. They refuse to talk about it or are even blind to it because they want to be or are just to naive to really see what is going on around them. Truth be told I can walk out my door right now and drive to where I know of at least 100 girls who are slaves there in one form or another. Nobody cares about them now just the same as nobody cares about them when they will get sick. They will just be sent home to die and maybe replaced by the little sister because the older sister has yet to repay the debt the family owed.
