i am probably a few years older than you, at early youth everything is changeable and can be fixed, but as you mature you start to accept the world for what it is and realize change doesnt happen overnight. also many issues are "black and white" whereas when you mature large areas become more gray areas.
many of these issues are coming from un-equal wealth distribution more or less mixed in with cultural/political differences between continents/religions etc.
both of those "animals" are very hard to change but in general we are going in the right direction as the world becomes better schooled and educated.
