I live in Thailand part of the year. Despite what most of you think, the vast majority of the prostitutes do it to MAKE MONEY! They weren't forced to do anything. They did it because sadly it's about the most lucrative position for a woman in this part of the world. I can't tell you about the underage scene, because I haven't witnessed it, nor do I go looking for it. It used to exist quite prominently in Cambodia, but that's been largely cleaned up. When I first visited Cambodia there were girls in brothels and bars who were obviously underage. That has either come to an end or gone way underground.
