I've sold a lot of sites that Penny has shot for and the episodes she's in always sell really well. That's a good barometer for how "real" someone comes off to the surfers.
Penny might not be my exact fantasy girl, but she does have a personality and she's certainly not bad looking by any stretch of the imagination. I think all things considered, she's probably one of my favorite "solo girl" personalities.
Anyone that knows me knows I don't take most of the taltent very seriously at all, so for me, that's saying a lot.
