The past few years it's become a yearly tradition for my wife and I to have our shopping done before Thanksgiving. We managed to pull it off again this year.
During the year when we come across stuff that we think would go over good for Christmas, we but it and put it away in my office closet. A week before thanksgiving we have a list ready, we compare prices, and then we go buy stuff. It's really not fucking difficult.
This year we also got a bunch of gift certificates from Amazon.com, I bought some stuff there too. It all came second day shipping. Sweet.
