Back in the days we had snow much worse than today..it was like 4-5 feet high and never had the same equipment we have today and yet still managed to deal with it,but the fuckn media today on most news stations or sites dictate that a snowfall is like a fuckn catastrophe or we are doomed,my god what a joke.
That goes the same for the economy when most people log into their puters and hit their homepage and see nothing but the R or D word for the past 8 mths and then wonder why nobody is spending.
Yeah 09 is going to be a great year,i can just see it.

We were livin' near Lake Simcoe during the blizzard of '77 (hour north of Toronto)...the snow was three-quarters the way up the hydro poles on the rural concession roads. I remember lookin' out the school bus window and it was like drivin' down a snow tunnel.
Yep, they ran the school buses during the storm (for a while).
Today, they cancel buses if the media reports a few inches on its way. Just this past Friday my daughters had a 'snow day' when buses were canceled. I still made it in to work (on time), despite having to commute an hour to another city.
