I noticed when I went to Vegas that I wasnt able to check my home server or slingbox

so I figured my IP was changed or the power went out no biggie.
Well yesterday im uploading pictures from Vegas and notice the speed is really slow, so I check on speedtest.net and its WAY slower than it was. I reboot the modem, router, computer, etc. and try again... still slow.
So i call Comcast and ask what are they doing to my internet? I pay through the nose for faster speed and damned if im going to get the basic internet rate. Well after arguing with 2 reps and one "cs manager" they claim that with recent power outages (which i dont know if it was true cause i wasnt here) some customers may be effected.
so basically, if i never would of called they would of never put me back on the higher package?


seriously, messed up. I call back this morning and within 10 minutes its fixed again... but for how long
