I guess it's got to be interactive to work with web2 sites....

Brands should be getting profiles, running competitions and offers not slapping up banners and hoping they'll be clicked.

People go there to have fun, to network, not to have advertising thrown at them so anything going up there really has to grab their interest, entertain if there's any hope of it being effective.

Those ads that make you watch for 15 seconds before taking you to the page you want, i see them on so many mainstream sites....HOW ANNOYING?!! I don't think I've ever clicked one of those ads, always opt for 'skip' if it's available.

I thought porn was bad with the adverts and pops til i began checking out mainstream entertainment sites, don't know how the surfers can stand all the intrusive advertising
