Shit, that kind of shit going on in a country of 18 million (if memory serves), which further proves Sly's point about the level of depravity that might be going on in China and India...but in some parts of India shit goes on that is part of their cultural norms (in remote areas) that we find reprehensible, like that girl that got raped but it wasn't witnessed by two people so the charge was dismissed but her and her mother were punished for the girl getting pregnant while unmarried.
