If your going to buy content from a guy who says his shit is better then someone elses without actually looking at it first, then you deserve to get screwed when you find out that it actually wasn't better then anyone elses. As I said before, content should speak for itself.
I wouldn't hire a designer to design a site for me because he says he is good...they all say they are good. I'd take a look at his portfolio and see with my own eyes what his stuff looks like. Just because he said he's good....doesn't mean he's good. That's my point.
