Hey, thanks for the sales, the entire Industry should thank the password sites for the years and years of sales that produced millions in revenue for us alone. Those attacks greatly helped expose most of us to massive amounts of people that we could turn into sales!
Still funny though, a password guy from the 2000's... kind of missed the 'dangerous' boat by about 8 years.
All PW protection systems stop authorized logins from multi ip ranges. I don't want to shock anyone, but that's what it's job is. Then when a re-leak happens, any paysite half paying attention, knows something is wrong... Programs have stopped re-leaks for years - while others don't care (ie: exposure = sales) they let the protection system allow people in and boot people out...
Anyone that has ran paysites for years knows password sites are of no danger to us. For sure a danger that is so easily corrected, yet "allowed." However - TODAY the dangers are different, it's not the password sites people fear... but controlling your re-leaks (instant leaks from processors like checks) will greatly help on most peoples piracy issues.
