We can just have a checkpoint and all you have to do is say: "I'm an American citizen, I'm not answering your questions." and you will just be allowed to go on, no more questions asked. It doesn't matter if you are or are not a citizen, you have said it was so and if they are not going answer any more questions then you have no way of determining if maybe they are lying to you. So just let them all in.
