For me the above just about sums up the entire story.
So he broke company policy .. fire him.
There's some solicitation ... ok sure .. its a misdemeanor ... fine, community service ad/or suspended sentence.
But a FELONY ... really now .. is that necessary .. the poor guy's life is ruined ... for what???
