A couple of tips for y'all in CS.
Using Sir or Ma'am is always preferred. It makes the customer feel important.
Notice how I bring the family of the customer into the discussion. It let's the customer know we are a family oriented site.
Use of gangsta talk is sometimes helpful. It lets the customer know your "hip."
