not really true the cell processing power of the ps3 is way beyond anything in your off the shelf bluray player but your point is rather valid, many will play h.264 but h.264 implementation in graphics cards is spotty for instance apps like vegas 9 pro which SHOULD use it....dont even if its available.

but if you have an hdtv, a ps3 or xbox360, an old puter, a lan then spend 40 bucks on playon...its capable of replacing cable TV in my book, specially when you add playon plugins for extra channels and netflix instant queue
