He didn't specify that he was talking about the older one and that wouldn't make sense anyways because the older one wasn't at the game. I'd like to think someone fucked up and didn't think through the joke but none the less it was in extremely poor taste to say that an adult knocked up a child.
David letterman is extremely private with regards to his own family and for whatever reason he has for that he is hypocritical to have such disregard for someone else's child no matter who's it is.
This is an adult forum and people here should understand and frown on anything having to do with an adult " knocking up " a child. It's just not funny and it's tragic to say so with such a large audience. People think it's a jab at Sarah Palin but it's the daughter that feels the pain.
One of the rules of this forum is no personal attacks on a persons family and there's a reason for that. That reason should apply anywhere at anytime and it doesn't matter if it's a faceless person on the corner or a high profile politician. There isn't anything much weaker than attacking the child to get at the adult.

I would agree with you, until you run for VP and have a chance of running for president later, and you just happen to be, a complete and utter moron, packed around a family of morons.
And if he was speaking of the other daughter, she isn't a Child, and she has time in the stupidity spot light, pure fault of her own.
