Yeah better safe than sorry. If it was just diarrhea I would of tried to treat it at home. My dogs have had it before but with all the throwing up and she couldnt even keep water down. I decided she had to go to the vet. Now I feel so bad she was sitting in the kitchen in the dark waiting to eat. I can give her a little of this bland food they gave me for her.
