No but a few years ago he come over for dinner with Lela and given me safety improvement tips for the house I had in Box Canyon. It was perched on a steep hill and the driveway was a bit precarious in the dark.

best bet is to send some money and have him put it on his account to buy tooth brush and some food while he is in jail...

here is a good service for sending money or email letter to MAX - http://www.jpay.com
JPay makes it easier for you when a friend or loved one is an inmate. JPay provides Internet tools so that friends and family can easily and instantly send money or
send letters to an inmate. A parolee can use JPay tools to pay restitution.
No, it was Nick 3131 if you're talking about the first annual 40th.

Thanks for the link! I hope you do drop him a note and show him some support. I can't imagine what it's like being locked up. In LA County now less.

I'm not a fan of the type of content he shoots but I do think the charges are lame because they went after the producer and everyone else in between him and the buyer got off scott free. He wasn't the one who went got the dvd and sent it directly to the customer, the retailer did. They should be aware of the do-not-ship-to states where its illegal to ship to. But what really bothered me was the the trial itself and the precedence it set. How do we protect ourselves as an industry if the retailer fucks up and the law goes after the producers. That just doesn't seem fair to me.
