some laws of a particular area will overrule what was decided upon as the law in a contract though. Laws are often in conflict with eachother, even government laws. If there is no overrulling law from a higher authority, whatever was agreed upon IS the law of that agreement.
Sure, but for the vast majority of consumer laws (refunds, etc etc) - it's all very firmly established - and again, would very seldom have anything to do w/ the processor (to bring this subject back down to earth...)
