Now if I decided to upload an unwatermarked or "nomally" watermarked vid that they could remove my watermark then they would without a doubt put it up.
The bad part is they are so zeroed in on having pornhub strictly be a traffic generator for their own stuff at brazzers or pre-paid "advertising" that they didn't even consider just putting their own SoloSlutCash link code on the vids and making sales.
Some people might think that's dumb...but it's actually smart on their part. Why send traffic anywhere except Brazzers? For what? A few sales? (If a tube can make them anyway) Nope, they are gonna make that pre-paid money and at the same time brand the hell out of Brazzers so that they never have to depend on affiliate traffic ever again. (that is if any of us have any traffic left anymore lol)

interesting, wouldn't zooming in and taking out watermarks completely toss out the DMCA ? I thought DMCA was used to basically say this is from a user, we don't touch it, we don't manipulate it. it's either there or on proof of copyright violation taken down?
seems to me this would change the whole argument? I'm not a DMCA expert by any means, but I thought it was like either Users upload with no supervision ( approval ) or if using approval or modifications, then requires proof of ownership?
