It was also never up to the schools to teach us about nutrition. That was our parents job to do. The school may have briefly covered it, but it is not hard to figure out what is and isn't healthy. The schools now are serving pretty healthy foods.

I was in the store a few days ago and this 6'3, 350 pound lady got one pack of the
super-sized reeses (peanut butter/chocolate) for each of her 3-4 yr old daughters.
That's bullshit! I can't eat one of those and I'm an adult.
The lady is teaching her kids to be fat. She probably has no clue that the candy is not
good for the kids.
