so this ruling resulted in 3 hours of downtime, millions of dollars of free publicity
and a new shirt for sale in the pirate bay store.
and we haven't even got to any of the substantive reasons for appeal that the pirate bay have in their conviction for "assisting in copyright infringement" for timeshifting tv shows (73% of the infringements) in which there was no proof that they were involved in the transaction (because the stupid cops turn dht on, and used a client that prioritized local peers over getting seeds from the tracker)
