I'm sure if he can't find anything on Wikipedia, he'll at the very least come on here and repeat his mantra about VCR's. And then he'll try and convince us all that a Supreme Court ruling on cable television is the final say on content theft on the internet.

At least it's fun watching him act a fool.
why would i have to search the internet when i already found and posted the response

Now that has changed. I think it's a pretty big deal. And I've had a big smile on my face all day thinking of the possible implications that the precedent might set and the possibility that if the mainstream hollywood companies now come at it again full bore with their attorneys, real change could happen to protect people's work and return all of us back to a money making business instead of something that the whole world now thinks is free

I'd also like to remind you that you can pretty much DMCA anybody and get your stuff down. EXCEPT the pirate bay. They refused to take anything down for anybody. And they were the biggest.

So add it all up and yes it does mean something. It's a big victory for people who make a living in so many different industries. This is the first step. Yeah, they might find a way to get back online temporarily. And they might be able to run for a while. But they are on the run now.

The tide is changing.

you mean the precedent of spending a million dollars, and months of time investigating, years of time trying to convice the police to do another investigation, to get a conviction so you can get their internet cut off in one country only to have them move their connection to another so that the process would have to start all over again.

wow what a fantastic win

let all party like it 1899.

i guess that all you can expect from someone who is so clueless that they believe copying wayne's world in porn is "creative".

i will bet you that the pirate bay will successfully get the conviction overturned before that cycle happens in another country.
