i love wharehouse stores, just need to have a plan shopping at them and stick to it. doing so can and will save you hundreds of dollars a year easy. if your family is like mine, there is only two of us living in the house. that means we do not need a six pack of toothpaste, or a gallon of mustard for instance. we do get many of our casual reading books there and they typically are 50% or more off of cover price for new releases. meat purchases work great as long as you break it down when you get home into serving sizes and freeze it. same with cases of canned foods, dairy, seasonal items, and of course the big super savings is the gas discounts at their gas pumps.
to save additional funds we split our membership with another couple we know. sometimes we shop together and will split up the items, like when we buy the entire rib steak loin that we then take out of cryovac, cut into steaks and split them up. we both pay for half of the yearly fee, we both have cards so was can shop on our own, and since i opened the account i got the one that gives yearly cash back rewards which i get to keep 100% of and it counts both our and our friends purchases.

something makes me want to talk alot on here.
