Gino's East is gross in my opinion, but it's a Chicago Fav. Go to Chicago Chop House, Chicago has amazing steak houses. Go to Portillo's totally, and one of the best restaurants in the country (not just according to me)

I lived there for 10 years, def try to get over to Wrigleyville even if you can't get tix to the game - it's quite the fun fiesta, bars a plenty and great food and people. Try Sluggers, Cubbybear or Murphy's Bleachers, all been around forever and all fun fun.
I would personally avoid Water Tower and Navy Pier unless you like dealing with other tourists. If you like sushi go to Randolph Street near Greektown, Sushi Wabi is awesome. Also try Rush/Division area, Gibson's fantastic steak house and great people watching...or go to Rockit, great bar, has good food - great scene in that area.
Btw Uno's Pizza is a chain, you can get that nearly anywhere. It's good, but don't spend your time going to a chain.
Most importantly, Chicago is known for great breakfast eateries, there are a ton, but my fav is
www.melicafe.com/ in Greektown. They have about 30 diff kinds of eggs benedict and pancakes, it's so good...especially if you are nursing a hangover.
