Selling domains/sites you've grown attached to

One of the tough things about selling domains and/or sites is getting attached to some of them and then having to see them go. I'm riding a high these past couple days with 3 nice sales, but one of them is one of my favorite names of mine, ByYou -dot- com. Social media + the subdomain possibilities with it are just killer - Videos.ByYou, Blogs.ByYou, Bookmarks.ByYou, etc. I actually paid a couple grand for it to begin with BECAUSE I figured I'd develop on it, but just never reached that point. I knew I'd probably end up selling it before being in a position where I'd feel comfortable going full force in developing it, but still sucks cuz I know it would just own as a social site and lord knows the new owner will put up such a site and make me regret the sale. It's happened before where I've sold names, look sometime down the line and see a cool site on them and think "damnit, why the fuck didn't I keep it and develop it?"

At least it went for a bunch (in fact all 3 names I sold in past 2 days were for a lot more than I'd ask for them on forums ), and timing is everything. I know I'm probably more enthused about the domain than most people would be but I just think it's pretty one of a kind and would be strong for development now. Oh well, better for the intarwebs that it goes to someone that probably will develop it.
