That's because all that stuff is happening every day. We can't "pay attention" to all that stuff each and every day - no one would ever get anything done. Meanwhile, planes being flown into buildings doesn't happen every day. Why can't you just let some people pay respect on this day? What difference does it make to you?
In fact, as you even mentioned in the other thread, most people only give a shit about 9/11 on anniversaries of 9/11, while people are donating to fight the kinds of deaths you speak of all the time, and people spout off against wars and protest against wars all the time, etc. People are paying respect to this event on this one fucking day and that's too much for you?
