Nah, massive vibrations are due to the sound barrier - the pressure created in front of something. Once that has been passed, there is a lot less resistance.

If there were two booms, then it's flying supersonic (>Mach 1.4) - 1 boom from the nose, 1 boom from the tail, so the sound barrier has well been broken
