it's a matter of choice. i consider blogger a good territory to build a few backlinks on. it's off my network, it's a trusted host, it's free, and it easy as fuck to setup quick. anywhere at anytime that you can take an easy backlink or two, you should take it. they aren't time consuming setups or anything. it's my opinion that a naturally popular page would have inbound links coming from all over the place. i don't even question it when i see a free backlink sitting waiting to be picked. i just take it. just seems like the right thing to do.

i pretty much call em as i see em when it comes to differentiating small from large scale operations, but generally i judge by how much of the work is one man working away for hours kind of work. if you're a one man show putting in little money you're straight up bum marketing, and you best be looking to take advantage of any opportunity you can. when i think big operations i think of someone operating with enough expendable cash for automation, outsourcing grunt work, and buying traffic/links. generally someone who works fulltime managing as opposed to busting their e-back.
