In short, it?s a free new platform that allows you to create your own personal, fully customizable, homepage ? Bringing together all of your social networking sites, the most celebrated sources in news, sports and entertainment, premiere lifestyle magazines/blogs, your favorite TV shows, videos, and music, plus 100s of online games and puzzles, ALL ON ONE PAGE. I?ve been using it as my homepage for a week already and love it: Super convenient, the everything runs very clean, it?s fun, free, a winner in and of itself; but then they take it and put it right on top of the largest online affiliate shopping network in history, with every top brand imaginable (Target, Best Buy, Macys, Travelocity, Verizon, iTunes, Bebe, etc.) and incentivizes it?s users to simply click through their mall directly to the retailers site by taking part of the affiliate commissions they receive and paying you anywhere from 1% to 50% instant cash back on every purchase you make. PLUS when you refer your friends and family, you?ll receive cash back off of every purchase THEY make, and their friends, and so on? out to 10 LEVELS DEEP.
ok Here?s the inside info: Blastoff wont launch to the public until Thursday November 5th, following an onslaught of in-store displays and TV ads blanketing the holiday shopping season, including a joint Super Bowl ad with Pizza Hut involving a real Russian proton rocket full of pizzas being blasted off to our friends at the International Space Station (see the Wall Street Journal article)
