You ALL make excellent points but here's the bottom line:
NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN GETTING WELL AND REMAINING SICK/DYING SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO LIVE OR GET WELL.
What are we, America? A bunch of sick, selfish assholes who only care about MONEY and not human life?
If so then we ARE everything our detractors claim us to be.
NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO MAKE THIS DECISION:
"Do I LIVE and go broke, or DIE and leave whatever I have left to my family?"
Enuff said. Universal healthcare should be a RIGHT because we ALL have the RIGHT to live, and not fall sick or die simply because we ain't got no money, honey.
