LOL at the people who hated Rita because she was bitchy/nagging/whatever. I wasn't a huge fan of her character either, but it was due to poor and inconsistent writing. They couldn't decide what her real personality was so they just had her act however they needed a "generic wife" character to act at the time to further the plot line with Dexter. If they needed her to flip out over nothing, she did. If they needed her to overlook something really big, she did. She wasn't a bitch, she had no personality at all.
